Travel update - only use public transport if you have no other travel options:
Travel Update (last updated: 14 July)
Only use public transport if you have no other travel options. This keeps our services safe and available for those who need them most. Walk, cycle or drive if you can but you should continue to stay at home as much as possible.
When making essential journeys stay apart. Do not crowd at doorways to get on board. Do not sit next to others where possible. Use mobile, smartcard or contactless payments. Social distancing is important to keep you and our staff safe.
Bus, train and tram services are being increased slowly as more people return to work however capacity will be limited. Updates from operators can be found on our Network Overview page, please keep checking back for further changes and updates to services.
We're working with bus operators to return travel to a ‘new normal’, putting more buses back into service across the West Midlands so that people returning to work and those using public transport for essential journeys, can safely social distance on board.
Shops are allowed to re-open, therefore we will be working towards buses arriving more frequently across the network. We would like to ask customers to continue to stay apart and stay safe - find out more.
Face coverings must be worn on all journeys on public transport. For more information, including how to make your own face covering and FAQs, visit our dedicated face coverings page.
